What is your academic background? What research experience did you have before grad school?

I majored in Mathematical and Computational Science at Stanford University with an honors focus in Computational Genomics. During my undergrad, I helped develop computational methods to examine various mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance and susceptibility. Examples of the systems we studied were the human gut microbiome and blood.
