**Tell us a bit about yourself**

*I grew up in South Korea where I did my undergraduate in Biological Science at Korea Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (KAIST). I minored in Computer Science and studied the relationship between chromatin loops and regulatory elements during my undergrad. I'm interested in surveying and integrating different types of genomic data. My favorite class during my first year was Biophysics 205 where I could get some sense of current research in diverse fields of computational biology and genomics and learn to critically read papers. For the students who are interested in bioinformatics PhD, I would recommend them to build balanced academic/research background spanning both biology and data science.*

**How do you like living in Boston? What do you do when you are not working?**

*There's a lot to explore in Boston especially nature-wise. I love waters and there are beautiful Charles river, lakes, and the ocean. In my free time, I love to do yoga and work out. I also enjoy cooking and playing the ukulele.*
