**What is your academic background? What research experience did you have before grad school?**

*I double majored in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in Bioinformatics at Washington University in St. Louis. During my undergraduate years, I mainly worked in a cancer genomics lab with projects on computational tool development and sequencing data analysis.*

**Why did you choose BIG?**

*BIG has a strong background in both computation and biology, and it provides an open environment to work with a large variety of labs in different areas.*

**How do you like living in Boston? What do you do when you are not working?**

*When I'm not working, I love trying out new restaurants and grocery stores!*
