My research interests lie at the intersection of computational omics and host-microbe communication, examining how these interactions modulate host immunity and influence epigenetic landscapes. I am interested in using computational methods to study the role of gut microbial species and their extracellular vesicles in intercellular communication, with a particular focus on their immunomodulatory properties and potential therapeutic applications. Additionally, I am interested in uncovering the mechanisms by which microbial and mammalian EVs impact host epigenetic modifications, such as DNA methylation and histone modification, to understand how these changes alter host gene expression and physiology.

I come from South Korea, and I look forward to learning from exceptional mentors and peers through organic discussions and collaborative studies.
