The lab is focused on developing and applying computational and statistical methods that integrate large-scale human genetics, single cell and functional genomics and systems biology data to uncover the causal genes and regulatory mechanisms of complex diseases, with a focus on common eye diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
