 **Tell us a bit about yourself.**

 *I'm from Palo Alto, California. I studied math and computer science at Harvard for undergrad, and then worked for three years in software engineering and as a data scientist in Purvesh Khatri's lab at Stanford. For the PhD, I'm exploring but have been mainly interested in biosecurity and pandemic preparedness, which could include vaccine production, vaccine immunology, pandemic detection, etc. In my spare time, I like to talk with friends about effective altruism and play music.*

 **What do you do when you are not working?**

 *I like to sing karaoke and play basketball. I also like trying life hacks and doing side projects.*
